Central Calculator Engine

! The Problem

Calculators across multiple client applications were originally built as isolated components. Whenever local financial calculations, tax percentages, or structural layouts changed, developers had to modify hundreds of independent repositories manually. This led to massive code duplication, compilation delays, and frequent synchronization failures between deployment environments.

The Solution

Engineered a centralized, highly-optimized node service to house mathematical algorithms and dynamic rules. Formulas are stored as declarative parameters in MongoDB. Implemented Next.js frontend pages that run server-side calculations, querying the centralized backend dynamically on request. This single deployable engine core ensured any policy update or math adjustment instantly propagated across all client sites without recompiling codebases.
